The bubbles are mainly caused by different water quality, usually regular tap water will do the trick, however, since water quality is subjected to vary over regions, we encourage you to try different type of water to test for the optimal result.

It is recommended to rinse the cup with running water (warm water if possible), to melt the residual ice at the bottom, which usually only take less than 1 minute. Or, you can pour some warm water and add some salt, then leave it for several minutes.
